We have come here 3 times when in port for a cruise. We always love it how peaceful it is and the value. No cover charge and we drink/eat all day for a very reasonable price while sitting under an umbrella. Nice little snorkeling spot also. Overcast right now so photos aren’t the best.

Playa Azul is within walking distance of our Cabana located at Rancho Chichaulco. There is 10 per adult, and a 5 per child cover charge at the gate; however, the charge goes towards the total check amount when ordering food & drinks. The views are GREAT, the beach is very nice and easily accessible. Overall, this is a great place to hang out for a day.

Probably the best deal for beach clubs on the island. As of today, the deal is 200 pesos per person that goes toward anything you order so as long as you order enough to cover 200 pesos per person, which you definitely would regardless, you get free entry and a couple of beds with an umbrella. Mostly Mexican tourists which made me feel more like I was not getting ripped off like at the other places oriented to mostly gringos which cost an arm and a leg.

This is a chill beach club and the low minimum makes it affordable if your plan isn’t to be drinking all day. Even if you are- the costs are reasonable. Moreover the food is great. We went to Paradise a couple weeks ago- higher minimum, worse drinks, much worse food. The highlights of the location: dog friendly and the water is like glass. I snorkeled from the shore and still saw some schools of fish and even a little stingray :). Best part: it’s dog friendly!

Great spot on the beach. Not overrun with cruise ship groups. The beach itself is rather small but there's a large open air restaurant under a palapa roof, a bar, and a deck on the ocean. There's also a pool. Nice lounge chairs under shade palapas on the sand. Now there's an admission fee. Have some food or drinks and stay as long as you like.

My daughter's wedding was on their beach under the gazebo. Staff was great Food was even better. Everyone enjoyed themselves all 70 people. We came from one of the cruise ships and they had everything in place for her wonderful wedding. I wish I had the name of the women that helped coordinate all the accomodations.

Playa Azul was beyond accommodating for my wedding vacation. We had 46 guests total, children included and they made sure we were all taken care of throughout the week we were there. The food is incredible, the service staff was so friendly and it was easy navigating to and from downtown Cozumel as well! What a pleasure it was to have our wedding with them!! My husband and I will be back for years to come to celebrate our anniversary!

We visited this beach off one of our cruises. It had free parking and no charge to use the beach as long as you ate at the restaurant. It was very nice. We enjoyed food and drinks. The prices were very reasonable. The beach was not huge but had everything you needed. Snorkeling right off the beach was cool for the entire family. We are headed back to Cozumel soon and hopefully we will have another fun day here. I will update my review and see if they now charge as I’ve seen in some posts. I hope not
